So I've set that to 4, taming to 1, and removed the food boosts for tames. I've also added the Appetizer mod (parts of it) to allow to speed boost taming if you craft the materials for it.

Yes, tested it last weekend. Taming an ankylo with 0.5 dino food multiplier caused it to lose ~0.5 food/second, we then changed the value mid-taming and using 1 caused it to lose ~1 food/second. It doesn't influence taming efficiency (because the dino eats just as often), but it doubles the taming duration. #3.
in SP mode they make the difficulty level 0.2 to get level ~30 dinos so you don't get killed in one hit. They also scale the hp/melee higher than normal to make your dinos even stronger. Personally I set the taming speed to 10.4 offset 1 difficulty 5 for 150 dinos and not modify the hp/melee multipliers. But I put in the breeding changes.Just divide 1 trough your maturing factor. Taming speed is already pretty fast. 20-30 for the big mobs and less for smaller mobs. It's not like ARK:SE where high level big mobs take 8+ hours. If these taming times are too long for you, then you may as well just use admin commands to spawn in and insta tame, and at that point, why even bother playing. #9.
