So I'm running a 700R4 behind a SBC400. The rear end is an 8.8" geared at 3.27. I'm trying to get the TV cable set correctly, which I think it's close, but my RPM's are running way to high down the highway. At 65 mph I'm over 4,000 RPM's. Shoot, I forgot all about this potential issue. I have a Bowtie Overdrives 700R4 with their EZ kit on an Edelbrock carb. I just ordered the Fitech EFI system today (backordered obviously) and wasn't even thinking about the fact that the existing cable system likely won't work with the GoEFI throttle body.

I am making up my own mounting bracket for the stock type TV cable and adjustment housing. Their cable has a ball-end, like a bicycle brake cable does. That ball goes into the bracket and allows it to pivot with the bracket as the throttle is moved.. The spring, i dont remember exactly why.
