I have a 10.5 inch ar pistol maglocked and honestly its barely different than a normal rifle. With a houge/KE Arms/AR maglock + kingpin you can drop the mag with the bolt locked back so clearing malfunctions is not an issue. I love my JTE-15 but a lot of people are cautioning me about a catastrophic jam that will require taking it to a gunsmith with live rounds in the rifle. The arm of the maglock was shaved down about 40% of the thickness and it's still not enough to clear the ambi pedal when the maglock is pressed. As its shown in the pictures, it is just enough to clear the pedal when not pressed. Do not think I can shave down any more of the arm without significantly weakening the maglock.
