I play on a 2017 iMac 27". For the past (at least) year whenever I start the Battle.net app, it insists on updating Wow even though there is no update. It takes 30-60 seconds for the app to realise there is no update. Recently, I've encountered the "Agent went to sleep" situation. I've killed Agent processes and restarted again and again.
