Id probably prefer the Anky because you may at least get some other useful resources, where as the Doedicurus will only gather stone. Edit: ark.gamepedia.com confirms Doedicurus has a 5 star gather rate on obsidian nodes. A doed will get more metal from an obsidian node then an anklyo.
