Using Soracom, a SIM card, a Raspberry Pi, and GPS sensor, we can create a working prototype of an eScooter company. We chose the Xiaomi Mijia M365 electric scooter because it can be easily controlled via Bluetooth. To access these controls long-distance, we needed some kind of connection to the internet.

I removed for the first the black gps box in front of the scooter. I don't know if it has an additional battery inside so I placed it inside a bush. I don't know how long the battery will stay until it dies, but I will wait some additional time.
