Factorio main bus guide.

by astroshak » Thu Jan 10, 2019 1:44 am. Personally, I’ll run 8 lines of copper, 8 lines of iron, 2 lines of steel, and 1 line each for coal and stone. I’ll also run one line of most everything else, except for red and green circuits, which get 2 and 4 (or more!) respectively. Although maintaining proper spacing is more challenging this ...

If you want to get away from spaghetti designs, building a Main Bus will allow you to reach a vast throughput of materials through your factory. This guide covers the complete set up of a Main Bus system, from products to adding to the bus, pulling from the bus, belt balancing, splitting, and general tips & tricks for a successful Main Bus.What Transport for which case? This page compares the three main transport methods: Belt transport system (conveyor belts), railway (trains) and logistic robots. There are two more useful methods to transport items: the character's inventory and the car. (Especially the car has an extremely high capacity and can be used instead of trains. In my very first game, many years ago before 1.0, I made a very intricate spaghetti that actually looked pretty cool from afar, think the media pictures for factorio featuring most buildings and products at a glance. Since then, I too got swallowed by the bus and never managed to recreate that first result. Not all materials should be routed via the main bus! Circuits especially. The metal for circuit production can go directly to those. For example for two belts of green circuits you need 3 belts of copper and 2 belts of iron. If you put all that on the main bus it just becomes huge for no reason at all. A bus is for splitting off materials.

However keep in mind that it really isn't possible two saturate two belts that are fully utilized that are fed from a single belt and a splitter.Order Your Base with the MAIN BUS - Factorio 0.18 Tutorial/Guide/How-to. Heya, I wrote that guide long before the changes to science, so it's a tiny bit outdated (until I have time to change it). What I have done in my past few factories is put petroleum and water on the bus and make sulfur on-site. However, since so little sulfur is needed, you can also put it on the bus as sulfur crystals (on a belt).I like to keep the bus as generic as possible - a belt of rock can be used for glass, sand, or brick as needed, but glass can only ever be glass. Some items you'll need in bulk, but only for the mall. You can spaghetti these into your main bus, but a perpendicular "mall bus" might be worth it. Or just wait until you can throw bots at it.You won't be able to avoid a main bus unless you like spaghetti. But you don't have to start over on a different map. Use the resources to relocate to a different area and not start from scratch. Than build railways, connect the bases. Localize the main bus for like a red science factory, circuit factory or just a smelting area.Every produced item that is used elsewhere goes into a balancer. The balancer feeds every consumer line with exactly one belt. Said balancer is large enough to have enough inputs and outputs for every producer and every consumer. This way you avoid rebalancing and throughput issues.A sulfuric acid pipe can move 2.5 times as much sulfur as a blue belt. Sulfur is like copper wire, expanding with a very rapid production, and like copper wire should avoid belts. Build it next to the consumer and use direct …But here are the basics on how to use Blueprints in-game for Factorio beginners: To access your Blueprint Library, tap "B" or click the first button in the top-right of the screen in-game. Factorio Main Bus Tutorial. This tutorial/guide and walkthrough series helps you understand the principles and fundamentals behind certain topics and gameplay. This particular video is meant to teach you about the Factorio Main Bus concept.Mainly the tutorials about the main bus are hard to understand I finished the red science stuff I want to use the main bus cuz a lot of people say its efficient and I guess it's the best way to keep things organized and I've built before a factory it was a mess so I wanted to do it better and thought that a main bus is the most famous way and seemed like it was backed by a lot of peopleNo no, you should put rails to your bus instead. Next to fish and pistols. I usually find a patch of iron and a patch of stone close to my base and build a small outpost. Depending on base needs and resource availability I tend to merge it with advanced concrete production. The website returned the following quantities per minute for the items I used to put on the main bus (using medium machines and a red belt): Iron plate = 6457,333. Copper plate = 6960. Green circuit = 2760. Steel = 580. Red circuit = 526,667.Public transportation is becoming increasingly popular as people look for more sustainable ways to get around. The intent here is for the base to be fed by belts. The base is fully surrounded by walls, turrets, and flamethrowers. This base will hold against any attack the bitters can throw at you. However, your mining outposts will probably be destroyed. This base is 90 SPM. Quite spaghetti but not large or complex. You really don't need a large bus or city blocks. You quickly get cheap t3 modules, which make things really quick and cheap. K2 belts are really fast so you don't need a large bus, and prod3s in everything makes everything cheap.4. Because batteries are a pain in the ass to make in each place you need them (since it requires two solids and a fluid). Every time I try to design/plan a factory I just get somehow "locked in" on a main bus concept, which I really don't like because of: splitter mess. this design doesn't work well, if everything is not backed-up - production at the beginning takes "priority" and can consume resources unbalanced. growth of the bus for additional inter-products.

A good beginner's main bus should include 2-4 belts of iron, 2-4 belts of copper, 1-2 belts of green circuits, 1 coal belt, 1 steel belt, and 1 stone belt. This will be your largest project to date, but the good news is that once you're finished, you're pretty much in the mid-game. My rule for bus items is anything which is needed for science or significant mall/pre-science production, and which cannot be replaced with a more processed item. Blue science requires sulfur specifically, so you need to either put a belt of sulfur on the bus, or a pipe each of water and petroleum gas to make it on-site.Personally, my bus right now has: 8 belts of iron, 8 copper, 4 green chips, 4 plastic, 2 steel, 2 coal, 2 red chips, and 1 belt/pipe each of stone, stone bricks, sulfur, blue chips, batteries, sulfuric acid, water, light oil, lubricant, LDSs, RCUs, rocket fuel, and a mixed belt of solar panels/accumulators for making the satellite.1 What should be on main bus Factorio? 2 What do you put on the main bus Factorio Reddit? 3 How do you get good at Factorio? 4 What is a main bus b Undervolt? 5 What is bus electrical? 6 Is Factorio easy? 7 What is Factorio peaceful mode? 8 How hard is Factorio? 9 Where do you get Factorio blueprints? 10 How many furnaces does a belt Factorio have?A school bus would typically be about 9.5 to 11 feet high and around 8 feet wide.
