Kesem sends over 10,000 children affected by a parent's cancer every year. Kesem is the largest nonprofit organization that is dedicated to aid this often-overlooked population of children.Kesem at University of Iowa will offer its seventh annual camp in Summer 2022, open to 60 campers from throughout the area. The camp is offered free of charge and is open to any 6-18-year-olds who has, or has had, a parent or primary caregiver with cancer. There are other free programs throughout thKesem at Miami of Ohio. Camp Kesem is a national non-profit, student-run summer camp that serves children ages 6-18 whose parent or guardian has been impacted by cancer.
