I even set the fov value in bethini. But sure enough every time I start the game I have to set the fov in the console, but that seems to reset after certain actions in game. One thing I notice is after I set the value in bethini a backup of the skyrim and skyrimprefs ini shows up with the vanilla. So I have 2 copies of each.
