Such as Exit Strategy + Python + 21% Delirium or Breakneck + Hush + 21% Delirium. My question is there a way around this? Or ultimately Bungie.. please address this flaw.

Dark age arsenal works fine, but these are the only weapons you can use: Kinetic: Lonesome, Night watch, Malfeasance, Bygones . Energy: Gnawing Hunger, or Trust . Heavy: Bad Omens is the only weapon that counts . The triumph requiring wyvern kills is indeed bugged.
