Personally I say get through most of the game vanilla and then install some mods if you feel like it. I dunno if it's more difficult on the Deck than any other system. I managed to get some mods running when I manually installed them via deck to my deck without any mod organizer. Interested to see if someone has a solution to this. I wanted to try using mod organizer to install all mods directly on the deck, there is a skyrim deck modding tutorial available that should work for FNV as well.
