D. dpsk Discussion starter · Oct 21, 2015. My LC9s has a broken tip on the striker firing pin. I contacted Ruger today and they sent an email with a pre-paid return label. I have to say, the customer service rep was EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. I already boxed it up and shipped it via FedEx.

I inserted an empty magazine, pressed the trigger and slid the slide off the frame.
