Yesterday, my MiaoMiao stopped working. I thought it was the battery so tried scanning with LibreLink and received the "Wait 10 minutes" message. This went on for 90 minutes and then I got a "Sensor failed" message. I don't know if the two fault sensors were from the same batch but they were picked up form the pharmacy at the same time.So sensor #1 worked great, sensor #2 went on great, waited an hour got the ready message….10 mins later go to scan and it tells me a sensor error… I'm using my first sensor and it's great! I'm currently using the FreeStyle Libre 2 READER and have no problems. However, I'm having a hard time connecting the FreeStyle Libre 2 app.A "Sensor Error" message appears when the sensor is temporarily unable to provide a glucose reading; for instance, during intense exercise. With the FreeStyle Libre 2 system, simply wait the duration specified on the screen and scan again.

If it does finally work, sometimes the Libre has no glucose data for the previous 8 hours. There’s no fix to this problem, to our knowledge. Just stick with it, and trust your traditional glucose meter in the meantime. If the sensor never comes back to life, call Abbott and request a replacement.

I’ve seen a suggestion to apply the new sensor to your skin a day in advance (but don’t activate it until the current one expires) ANS that should minimize the delay. I got this about an hour after putting a new sensor on. It did indeed take 7 hours so start receiving data again. This was right before I went to bed.

Yes, I have had that happen to me more than once. The first time it happened, apparently I hit a capillary when I inserted the sensor, and the resulting blood spot blocked the sensor so it wouldn't work. The second time, I had no indication why, so that's one of the sensors that freestyle asked me to send back.
