The Holley Renew Kit's instructions provide recommended clearance dimensions, based on the specific carb model. A primary dry-float adjustment may be 13/16, 3/8, or 11/32 inch. Secondary dry-float adjustment maybe 3/4 to 1/2 inch, again depending on the carb model. The renew kit comes with a handy ruler so you can accurately measure float depth.
