I’m 6’ even as well and do NOT hit the bars on full lock. I upgraded to Honda Mini Pro-Tapers and still don’t. I think it has to do with your body shape. You may longer legs and les torso than myself, so I dunno. One things for sure it doesn’t feel like a tiny bike while on it. (Aside from its weight which you can flick around).

They don’t have as much sweep to the bars though. They feel pretty good.
