You must register directly with, and pay the required fee(s) to, the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT) to take the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) or request a score transfer. When taking the NPTE, you'll be given 5 hours to answer all of the questions. Essentially, you have an hour to answer each section of 50 questions. This would break down to 72 seconds per question without any breaks. There's a 15-minute tutorial before the exam and a scheduled 15-minute break after the second section.

On first NPTE attempt I did not pass the PEATs. On second NPTE attempt i scored a 597 and i only passed one PEAT with a 624 and the other peat was a 566. My third attempt being last week I scored a 744 on retired form and a 721 on practice form.
