In 2.9.1 you need to multiply damage from S&R:P wiki by ~ 4 to get the damage you will receive in RlCraft. I know that in vanilla, you can’t light a portal in the end. I don't think the lost cities nether exists in 1.12. I may be wrong, and I know I've seen it, but I think that's for 1.14+. So to answer your question, it would probably just bring you to the nether. You can make a creative world to test it out yourself though.
