Brittney Dixon, PhD, MPH, CPH, TTS is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Services Research, Management, and Policy and in the Social and Behavioral Sciences concentration in the College of Public Health and Health Professions (PHHP) at the University of Florida (UF).Economics is a social science because it examines the social behavior of human beings with regards to allocation of scarce resources in order to meet the needs of each individual in the society.This concentration provides students with an in-depth understanding of the behavioral and social aspects of interacting with and through information technology.
