If a factory barrel hasn't been lapped, then lapping it properly will do far more than "barrel break in cleaning" will do. Breaking in a barrel is mostly "breaking in" the throat area where lapping doesn't really hit it. The throat area is the part that really determines most of the precision. The best barrel will shoot like crap with a bad throat.
