Today we'll be looking at a new revision of the Blessing 2, the Blessing2:Dusk. The Dusk are produced by MoonDrop in collaboration with the IEM measurement, graphing, and review guru, Crinacle (actual name Corin Ako), and are tuned to his specifications. This is the second pair of IEMs produced in collaboration with Crinacle.
These include but are not limited to: open circumaural, closed circumaural, open supra-aural, closed supra-aural, clip-on, and earspeaker. The technical score now gives more weighting to soundstage and imaging capabilities. This is exclusive to the Headphone Ranking List and does not apply to the IEM Ranking List. Contrary to popular opinion, additional power or amplification does NOTHING to address the glaring issues of a raw i4. Crinacle currently ranks about 2000 IEMs. Assuming that he has all 2000 IEMs in front of him, that he can tell which IEM is better than another based on a pairwise comparison, and that he uses a theoretically optimal sorting algorithm, it will take him log_2 (2000!) = 19053 pairwise comparisons to produce his ranking list.Looking for a TOTL IEM around 2K USD. Typically, there's going to be an emphasis on upper mids and highs. You DONT want to couple that with an IEM that emphasizes them even more IMO. Like @Asspirin I find so much more enjoyment in warming things up a bit and staying focused on the mids. A W shaped IEM may do well too provided it's mid peak is at or under 2khz.
