To commemorate the 100th anniversary of Fossil Cycad National Monument the National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, and other partners plan to host an event on National Fossil Day at the Museum of Geology at the South Dakota School of Mines in Rapid City, South Dakota on October 12, 2022, between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm. Admission to the event is free and open to the public.
