The staff and what the zoo had to offer however was very friendly for families and children. We had a great visit and because the zoo is a smaller zoo we were able to see all of the animal exhibits as well as ride the train which was a nice added bonus. The train takes you throughout the park and back for only a couple extra dollars per guest.

Jun 2023. The Erie zoo is not what it was in past years and was a real disappointment. It had been a great place with elephants, monkeys, a kid’s petting zoo, giraffes and gorillas, polar bears and a train. None of these are there today, and the train was not working.
