Given the crucible of law enforcement use for over a quarter-century, and given FIVE generations of constant improvement, NO HANDGUN can go toe-to-toe against Glock.I went ahead and got the 19.5. The reason was because it was the MOS version. The regular 19.5 was uncomfortable with the cutout on the grip. My overall impression is that this is a good pistol when compared to a Glock, XD, or M&P but subpar compared to a legacy P-series Sig Sauer gun.
