The biggest weakness on these boxes IMO. Ready to buy as soon as they use detents to hold em closed. I used an angle grinder to grind off the tab that sticks out and locks the drawer. Only major difference is the old boxes are 18" deep, the new ones are 22". AFAIK, the 56 and 72 were always 22" deep, but could be mistaken. Top drawer on the 44" box is about the same as the 56" box. The 44" and 56" boxes have optional top boxes, but the 72 doesn't. Bang for the buck seems to be the 44, but I'll probably get the 56 next time.
Well the casters and frame are a bit higher quality on the 72. I also like the large top drawer. But if you want to do the stationery thing probably not a bad idea to go with 44”.
