PAM is amazing with pally for smites. With spear and shield you do a ton of DMG and have an extra attack. For spear and board I went with duelling feat for the extra +2. But in bg3 the +2 is not carrying on the extra attack. That and considering the amount of spears available in the game, just turn me off a bit.
