There a dark green wire running from the P (pulsed output) terminal on the alternator to pin F on connector X6 at the display unit. The info on the 1991 year came from a John Deere website, but it was not specific on when in 1991 the change came. My tractor was built in 1991 and sold in 1992. There is not a bit of green on it that looks like the current JD green. Although not a perfect match, the color looks more like the older JD green. Back to top.

Yesterday while doing the 50 hr service on my 2025R Gen 2, I noticed my left rear R4 tire had the same type of chunks taken out of the center of the tread. Very strange. No R4 tire problems AT ALL in 7 years, e.g. 2 on 1025R and now over 5 on 2025R. Rough riding and not good side grip, but absolutely no tire problems.Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional! I was in the same boat a couple of months ago. I was set on a 740R and when I priced the 920M it was worth moving to a stronger mower. I want the glide seat and tweets. So end up buying the 930M instead.
