You don't need to micro-manage every bit of combat xp that you get. You can be really casual about it and still end up with tons of room to spare. Tasks that you should definitely cannon: Dagannoth. A lot of old monsters drop tables need a rework. But at least hellhound tasks eventually evolve into Cerberus tasks.
