Jul 11, 2015 · 8 Posts. Jul 12, 2015. I took Kaplan (in class) in early June and did everything from Qbank and Question trainers. My average Qbank score was 61%. Also used Saunders and David's Med/Surg. Before, when I heard of those who had 75 questions in nclex, I thought they all came out feeling "GOOD" about the exam.I maybe did 500 Kaplan questions in total. When I took the NCLEX every question was either pretty easy OR it was something I had missed on the Kaplan questions and I had a pretty good idea from that. To this day I have no idea why salmon salad is good for diverticulitis and tuna salad isn't but Kaplan told me so and NCLEX had the same question.
