To alleviate this you need either decrease the height of a male character (males don't have height slider, use "Body scale" slider instead in "Body - General", it's in the very bottom) or increase the height of a female character (use scale slider for this too instead of a height slider, as scale slider won't distort proportions).
The seven or so .zipmods files have to be in the mods folder. Screenshots of both the errors ingame and your mods folder (with the mod files you downloaded visible) would be nice.
