That’s funny. I used to run long tails and after a surface drive I never looked back. I felt I could go more place in the marsh with a SD. Speed is a biggie for me too with long runs. To each their own. I ran a 35 go devil sd for a long with on a 16ft boat. In a muddy area you can run in basically nothing. If it’s soupy mud that is.
