Yeah I'm dealing with the exact same issue, it was running fine and then I started end processes to open up memory space and ended Easy Anti Cheat and that caused my game to close and now I'm getting the access denied. I already tried the simple fixes, verifying the game files, flushing the steam config, uninstalling and restarting my computer.
