The Dexcom usually stays on just fine whether I shave or not. Falling off is much more related to how much the particular location causes it to take scraping hits. HOWEVER, it's much, much more painful to take the sensor off if I did not shave first. I also pump, and shaving my hair is a convenient way to make sure I rotate my sites.
