If you’ve already hit level 100 of Skull Cavern and have nothing to prove to Mr. Qi, you can take as many staircases with you as you wish with a clear conscience. But why do you need stairs? Grab your stuff. Galaxy sword and iridium axe. Bombs. Oil of garlic. Cheese or other food. Spicy eel. Triple espressos. Totem to transport home and desert totem.
Wife and I play local splitscreen co-op on Xbox. Mid year 3 Typically head to SC with Galaxy Sword, Space Boots, Iridium Pick, 100 small bombs, 100 big bombs, 100 triple shot, 100 spicy eel, and 100 stairs. Just drop stairs and you can pick which floors look good. We have loosely followed tips and guides. Regularly checked the wiki along the way.
