I got an email from them today inviting me to join the group, but me, being the ever so cautious person, decided to scope them out. It's a scam and a rip-off.

I've been nominated for both the national society of leadership and success and the national honor society for transfer students. You have to pay for both and right now I'm leaning more toward the one for transfer students because it's a one time offer and it has more strict qualifications compared to the NSLS plus it's significantly cheaper.
