I normally use OEM adapters with my Titleist 9xx driver shafts, but recently bought three aftermarket adapters on Ebay (two slightly different versions). What I found was that the screws that came with the aftermarket adapters were slightly larger in thread diameter compared with the OEM screws. Thread outside diameter : 4.88mm vs 4.68mm.
Finally, one thing that has not changed is the SureFit Hosel. It hasn’t changed because there’s no reason to change it. While the system is not intuitive, it gives players more choices – 16 – than any other hosel. If swing path on the monitor says you are coming in square but you are 48 degrees open, sounds like you may be gripping the club way too weak and so when you swing down properly, the face is way open.
