It will easily lift the front wheel in first and second. On dirt it wouldn't be too far off a DRZ400 in straight acceleration.I have done all day interstate rides on the KLR many times. The speed is usually about 70mph. I stop at least every hour and a half. The seat is an ass-hatchet, even modified. 450 miles is a good day.
