The last few years I (and others) have had success with maxing out dev caps vs lowering xp sliders so that only your devs make it up to 85/90+ range and your normals peak at 75-80. All-Madden is incredibly smart. It chooses the best defense every time, so you have to pre snap read but I still go 8-8 with top rated teams. I usually start off fine, but after starting 5-2, the AI just adapts and then is 10x harder from there on out in franchise. Same issue I have. I've tried to set the sliders higher on all pro for cpu.
