It's slightly weaker than claws but always hits and usually on the higher end. It also works as a melee weapon for the fight while claws don't.

pirelock Active Member. recently i found a way to spec twice in a row with korasi sword. it works great for rushing because noone prays mage nowdays and 2 specs are not expected. there are 2 requirements, one of them is a ring of vigour, other one i can't tell but if you pm me your account name i can look up if you got it.

Anyone not saying vls hasn’t ever been absolutely juggled by it, with just basic attacks it has more dps than korasi, whip, even a rapier. Korasi specs are faster and better for rushing, vls has double the specs with >90% accuracy regardless of defensive gear. If you hit specs on prayer, vls, off prayer then use ancient gs.
