This is a very common issue caused by fiddling with the FCU and leaving one of several candidate pieces out of position. More often than not the Takedown Safety Lever is the culprit. The first is that the takedown lever is not down, which is cured by lifting the slide stop, and the second is the safety lever near the sear is in the up position which blocks the slide.The mag is out and the slide is locked back but the damn takedown lever will not go to 6 o'clock position no matter how hard I force it. My first guess may have been wrong, after reading your original post again. The takedown lever does rotate. The slide lock lever is locked into the up position. Probably got the wire spring jammed against the frame. Try taking out the chassis if possible, or even lift it up enough to free the jammed lever.
