I think they should have kept the one bonfire at the start of demon ruins but taken out all of the others, while removing the capra horde before demon firesage. Demon Ruins also should have had an elevator going up to Tomb of the Giants around the first Lost Izalith bonfire after Centipede Demon (but only movable from Tomb).
