At the corner of what is now 11th and Massachusetts, a squad went to the top of Mount Oread to watch for federal troops.

We love to stop in at the Watkins Museum and store every time we are in Winona. There are historical exhibits from the start of the company in 1868 to the present day, a miniature train-type exhibit of the town of Winona, and shelves displaying the current product line of the more than 350 products that are available for purchase.
