I think an over under would be best for beginners too as its easiest to tell when unloaded, operating it etc. Looking for an o/u with 30/32 inch barrel 20 gauge or 12 for under 800 bucks. I was looking at a Yildiz Legacy HP at Academy, but this Tristar had pretty much the same features for about $100 less, and they were both pretty cheap to begin with.
