You'll need a front and rear DS from a 4wd. 2door and 4 door same DS sizes, you need the new DS's sinse the TC is a bit longer than the 2wd trans yoke housing.

Feb 23, 2002 · It can be done. GM frames are universal so it has the holes for either set up. The BIG problem will be the front crossmember under the engine. In a 2wd application the cross member and front suspension will bolt off. Problem is a 4wd crossmember will not bolt in without spreading the frame. There is a solution.
