Ark tooltips not showing.
Check the console to see if it has a warning. Try adding the theme CSS to the parent file. It might have answered the question, because a missing theme can well be the reason for a non-working matTooltip. Not sure if this answered the original users question or not but definitely did the trick for me.

I saw that a case was opened for this and it was concluded that you were using zoom which is not a standard feature and should never be used in production-grade applications as its implementation/behavior could change. R&D recommends referring to the official MDN documentation ( zoom - CSS: Cascading Style Sheets | MDN ).Sometimes the tooltips do not work well when mousing over if you also have a controller to fix this move the left joystick around then mouse over tooltips should show up. That is assuming you have tooltips turned on.
