I’d like to have an inline (only have two TC sidelocks at the moment). What are peoples opinion of them? Jul 16, 2015 · Hutch56, I have bought several CVA 50 CALS and never experienced this problem. I started with the V1 then moved up to the ACCURA V2 the the Acurra MR and finally the ACCURA MR with the Nitrite barrel. I tried many different bullets, sabots and powders both loose and pellets. I tried Remington Kleanbore, and wound up with Fiocchi primers.

Accura MR-X 45 caliber update: Ok guys. Finally got to the range. I was extremely happy, especially after reading all the failures with this gun. 97 degrees and humidity was 78%. The gun was cleaned first and laser bore sighted. It was shot twice at each range and never cleaned. 50-yd shot was dead on. 100 yd was grouping 1.3/4. 200 yd was 2.5.For elk, I prefer 290-350 gr. copper/well bonded jacketed lead bullets that group well out of my Accura V2. For deer, I'm okay with 250-285 grs.. Even with marginal blood trails over the years I've only lost one animal and that was due to a low hit (turns out that somehow the scope got bumped in transit).Aug 18, 2022 · Standard Accura was 27". Nov 12, 2021 · The CVA quick release plugs are mostly a better design than most Encore plugs. The old Omega/Encore style plug and the Pro Hunter FX are the only exceptions. The Pro Hunter FX plug is better in terms of igniting BH209. T/C does not have a very good track record for a good QLA.
