The St. Bridget prayers are a set of two devotions that St. Bridget of Sweden prayed daily. St. Bridget of Sweden was born in 1303 and was a widow and mystic. She founded the Bridgettines and in 1391 was canonized a saint by Pope Boniface IX. Her feast day is on July 23rd and she is the patron saint of Europe, Sweden, Widows, and for a holy death.
