fang is much better than rapier and claws. claws are also a bit of a trap, imo. they make the biggest difference on last phase akkha except that if you want to push higher invos you really need to actually practice last phase akkha and youll end up getting brick walled if you rely on claws to cheese that phase.

When you get there it tends to out damage a lot of the more expensive sets. If you have a rapier and bandos though it's probably going to be better DPS so long as the rest of your slots aren't trash. Which.... They shouldn't be. Generally though we're taking about like 10-15% better for going at 200m+ at 80s stats.
