I wouldn't really recommend multiclassing because Artificers tend to get really great things every single level that would be a pain to miss out on.

RAW, none. Paladin requires 13 STR, and investing 1.5 ASIs just to unlock a multiclass is just horrible. If your DM will waive the 13 STR requirement, this could be decent, though probably not as good as just going monoclass, since you need a lot of different stats and there isn't a lot of inherent synergy (second fighting style is not as good as the first one).
