Jan 24, 2020 · They expect the EDC X9 to shoot and feel like a 1911. It doesn’t. However, it’s a great shooting gun if you take the time to get used to it. If your really longing for that 1911 feel, the large backstrap option will get you much closer. Most guns aren’t sold with it, so that’s another $90 on an already expensive gun. I’m gonna go with Wilson, cause there’s a lot of things I’d still have to fix on a Staccato to get it right for me. If you want to stick with a double stack 9mm, then look into the X9 or Experior Double Stack. Proprietary mag that is arguably more reliable, available, and less expensive.
