Vivisectionist continues to be one of the strongest classes in the game, and is even better in this version because you can brew potions and get mythic feats that let you cast tons more spells, you can do things like apply expeditious retreat to your whole party for 24 hours. Alchemists make fantastic buffers due to infusion.
Your total loss between starting 10 and 16 with a +6 helm is one spell each of 1/2/5/6 spell levels. An alchemists spells are generally minute/level buffs, meaning losing spells doesn't automatically equate to a loss in damage potential for the alchemist. Vivisectionist is pretty solid as it is, personally I think a 1 level class dip in the plate wearing martial class of your choice is a great option. Be a strength based plate wearing, mutagen popping, two handed weapon smashing force of destruction. Or hell, you could do a dip as an Inspired Blade Swashbuckler for some intelligence based ...
